The people of Mary, Mother of God Parish in Komakul, Southern Highlands, celebrated the Feast of the Holy Family with a beautiful outdoor Mass attended by hundreds of parishioners from the main parish and all of the 14 outstations of the parish.
Over two hundred fifty youth from Saint Joseph Church, Tutam in the Lower Mendi Pastoral Area gathered for an intense experience of the true meaning of Christmas.

The face of God's mercy was revealed to inmates at Bui Yebi Prison at a recent Holy Mass and celebration. The Missionary of Charities and Sr Paulus Maria, FSDP have a weekly ministry at the prision.
After a grueling three-day walk, over 150 pilgrims from Saint Clare of Assisi Parish in Ialibu arrived in Mendi. They were the first Jubliee of Mercy pilgrims to arrive at the Holy Door that was blessed at Mary, Mother of the Divine Shepherd Cathedral.
Father Alberto Dawas is a diocesan priest from the Diocese of Mbulu in Tanzania. He has come to the Diocese of Mendi as a missionary. Recently he was officially installed by Bishop Don as parish priest of Saint Joseph Church, Ekari in the Upper Mendi area of the Southern Highlands Province.
